It's getting near to the end of the season which sadly is looking like
it will be an early finish for the team as our position in the league hasn't
allowed us to keep racing.
I last updated you when I had an injured ankle, and although it is still
painful it is not affecting my racing. I think some time off at the end of
the season will allow it to heal completely.
Lately it has been my back which has been giving me more problems, but a
few trips to the physio (who happened to be an Aussie!) seems to have sorted
that out.
I've been racing all over the country lately and it has mostly gone well
for me with a few good scores home and away, especially when I was at reserve.
I've also had a couple of matches where I've been disappointed with how I
have ridden... Isle of Wight and Kings Lynn come to mind.
We were against Sheffield on Friday where I was trying an engine I haven't
used since early on in the season. I was quite happy with how it went but
I still think I can get more out of it.
This week we have a challenge match, Bravehearts vs Kangaroos. I'm looking
forward to it as the pressure will be off and we can just enjoy our racing...
But that doesn't mean we'll be taking it easy. We'll be out there to win!
